Description

Chrane is a game designer/developer, an audio engineer/producer and the co-founder of WaveCave Studios. Her current interest is making audio-focused games and learning new digital media related skills. She is currently working towards her second master's degree in Art and Technology. She is also a hardcore fan of Pokemon and rhythm games.

History

Early history

Chrane first started using recording softwares and make her own cover tracks when she was 11. However, she never imagined working in creative industry until college. During her college time, she spent a year in Tokyo, Japan and got fascinated by the electronic music scene there. After switching her majors 4 times, she finally settled down with being a double major in Statistics and Music. While being an underguraduate student, she made her first audio game "Sound Journey" using 8-channel speakers, projection and an instrument.

After that

In graduate school, she slowly shifted her focus from doing pure auditory work to making multimedia media pieces. She loves the immersion and multi-dimensional narrative video games bring and has since then working on creating them. Her works are mostly abstrack audio-centric, but she is planning to create more varity of games in the near future.
